What do you receive, and how should you store it?
Two components: the liquid in the bottle and a solid component. For the 250 ml container, this is a tablet in the bottle cap; for 1000 ml and 5 litres, a powder mixture in a separate container. The whole container is activated; how this works is explained above under "Prepare" and in the dosing instructions.
Before activation, the product has a shelf life of around 3 years. The solid component must be stored dry: it is hygroscopic and draws moisture from the surrounding air. After activation, the solution keeps for two to three months, stored cool and dark in the sealed original container.
Buyers receive the safety data sheet as a link with their invoice. Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
How long does it take to activate biostream® ZERO?
Around 3 hours. biostream® ZERO is supplied as a two-component system and is ready to use after a preparation time of around three hours, without complex plant technology. Before activation, the product has a shelf life of around 3 years, provided the solid component is stored dry.
What does biostream® ZERO work against?
Against the typical germs in drinking and process water: Legionella (Legionella pneumophila), E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and biofilms, in which these germs take hold. The proven efficacy is 99.9 % (Leibniz University Hannover, 1,620 individual tests, 5 minutes contact time).
